Newbie with Header & PS Hose problem

Please HELP...
Ive got a 67 289 that I placed Patriot Tri-Y headers (w/ supplied adapter for PS assembly). I have gone through 4 PS pressure hoses since then.! Im being told that its due to the Headers. I bought the headers from a 'reputable company' (NPD) however, Im at a loss since I surely CAN NOT be the only one w/ a 289 with Power Steering thats using Patriot Tri-Y Headers...??
Is there anyone else out there that has had similar issues and if so, what was your workaround?

Anyone else heard of this problem and or have suggestions?
