1988 Saleen Convertible #88-352 factory
modified by Saleen Motorsports. There were approximately
788 Saleen Mustangs built in 1988 and of those
approximately 135 were convertibles. This is a solid
Southern "rust free" car. This is a mostly original
car. The convertible top is solid with no holes or
tears. The car is equipped with a 5-speed transmission
(recently replaced clutch), air conditioning, electric
windows, power top. I have the factory lug wrench tool
with the special attachment for the locking lug nuts. I
have two of the original ARE wheel center caps.
Replacement caps can be obtained from Saleen. I have the
convertible boot cover. I have the original radio;
however, I replaced it several years ago with a in- dash
DVD player hooked up to the factory equalizer. You will
have to check with the factory to get the code to unlock
the radio. Some moron stole the replacement DVD player
and took the factory equalizer too. The seat covers and
carpet are showing some wear due to age. I am selling
this car to make room for other projects in the shop.
This car is adult driven. Despite the begging, my
teenagers were not allowed to drive it.
