Car Description:
1965 Ford Mustang Fastback
Engine: Engine is a 289 4 BL complete rebuild. .30
over, harden valve seats, new pistons, new oil pump new cam,
all new cam and rod bearings and mains. New fuel pump, water
pump, new Holley carburetor, new water temperature& oil
sending units. New starter solenoid ,and voltage regulator
,new starter, new belts hoses and clamps, new thermostat, new
chrome valve covers and air cleaner. Correct battery cables
and all new wiring . Every thing has been rebuilt or replaced.
Just a great restoration on the motor compartment and really
on the complete car.
Chassis: Chassis has has been restored for driving. All
tie rods and lower control arms and upper control arms have
been replaced, spring seats also have been replaced. New
shocks also. The suspension does not need a thing . The 4
speed transmission just shifts like new. Because it has a
Hurst shifter but has the ford shift handle. Just one of many
neat things that have been done to this car. You will like
driving this car.
Body: Body was stripped to the bare metal and painted
with two stage urethane. Base coat, clear coat. The paint is
very slick and just beautiful to look at. No body panels have
been replaced. Floor pans are solid ,doors, quarter panels,
fenders, trunk, hood are just great. If want a very solid car
that has the body of a show car and has been restored to a
very high standards this is it! The chrome bumpers and all of
the emblems and the window moldings are new are has been
restored to new condition. The vent window frames have been
re-plated. All of the weather stripping has been replaced.
Interior: Interior has been restored just like the rest
of the car. From new dash pad to the carpet ,door panels,
headliner, kick panels, scuff plates, sunvisors, inside
mirrors, door handles, widow handles, arm rest and just like
the body and the motor compartment nothing was left to do but
enjoy the car.
Other: The tires are new and the wheels are American
racing `D’ But they are the rare early ones. The tire size
are. 205x70x14. And they do not rub the fenders. |
